See you there. Hey everyone. Welcome to another week of G-Thinks just bought it, the podcast where we talk about what we just bought and what you might need to

buy next. I'm your host Caroline Moss and today I am joined by Patrice Peck she is

my BuzzFeed colleague we don't we both don't work there anymore and she is a freelance

writer and she focuses a lot about race and culture and she's had bylines in the

New York Times and most recently she started kind of at the beginning

of the whole, you know, pandemic that we're going through,

a newsletter called Coronavirus News for black folks

because she preempted a huge need for reporting that was

going to be specific for the black community who is disproportionately affected by coronavirus and yet is not

those stories and that information is not being seen in like the wide mass media that we all consume every day.

So she is doing this work and really calling attention to it.
