Ladies and gentlemen of the interwebs, in a world hell-bent on unleashing a social media digital

lynch mob against any minor transgression whether or not it indeed even happened.

The news of the week end is of a tennis player, one named Rafael Jodar,

who was excoriated within a series of a few hours

for allegedly having violently shoved out of his way,

a lowly ball girl at a tennis game.

The only problem, none of it happened.

Everybody, you've seen what went on yesterday. And I put out a car vlog about it, reminding everybody, it seems that, you know, the collective

wisdom or the memory of the internet, the generational memory of the internet, I've said it

many times, it's about seven years.

And yesterday, as this 19-year-old tennis player was being dragged through the mud, threatened,

threatened with beatings, threatened with being kicked out of tennis because he shoved a ball girl

allegedly, even though he didn't. And I'm like, oh my goodness, this really reminds me of

Nicholas Sandman. This really reminds me of Justine Sacco. And it's an amazing thing,

actually. I didn't really appreciate the timing of these events. Justine Sacco, the woman who said,

going to South Africa, hope I don't get AIDS, J.K., I'm white, just kidding, I'm white, making a

self-deprecating joke about, I don't know, whatever white privilege she thought she had

in terms of living in a nation where AIDS and HIV is not a problem. That was 2013. And then
