and I've been doing it for probably since before they called it a podcast, but, geez, how long have I listened to this?

Oh, man, 15 years, maybe longer.

It's called the writer's almanac I used to first listen to it on

the local mPR station in uh Traver City, Michigan.

And it was like 9 o'clock every morning, something like that,

and they ran the Writers' Almanac.

And basically, it was a very brief thing talking about which writer's birthday this was,

then talk about maybe some key historical events, maybe ones we'd forgotten about.

So I just got in the habit of listening to that every day. But I was just

thinking about it here today because I was listening to the Writers Almanac. Now he doesn't

record it anymore so they are playing old episodes on this particular day but it has to be because he always says you know this is Sunday April 14th.
