The difference between the discomfort and the pain and the suffering isn't necessarily external

what happened outside of us, how it came in, how the communication was delivered.

A lot of times it's what we're doing with it, what we're doing with that rejection or what

we're doing with that information.

So the discomfort is like, wow, I really didn't want the rejection.

The pain can come from saddling the rejection with so much more meaning than it needs to have for us to grow.

And the suffering can come from making out with it for a long time.
