Summary

In this week's episode of Monocycle, Leandra touches upon many of the same points as last week's episode: letting loose. After briefly touching about her mission to get pregnant, the majority of the episode revolves around recognizing the importance of relaxing and when it's actually being achieved...learned behavior is the simple answer, while the hard part is unlearning. Anyway, let's do this together, yeah? Not become better -- I mean this podcast. WE'RE BEGGING YOU. Logo by Kelly Shami - legsny.com/ Edited by Nicholas Quazzy Alexander

I relaxed.

And yet, here I am.

I bring up let loose and relax because that's the theme of the month on man-repeller.

And so every week this month, I'm assigning myself a different task on how to let loose and relax.

1:30.4

Last week, my task was to mother myself.

1:34.0

And if I'm being very honest, I think I probably failed miserably at that.

1:38.8

You know, the first couple days went okay.

1:41.1

Every time I'd get a little bit anxious, I would close my eyes and imagine that I was my

own daughter and try to give myself the advice that I would give my daughter if I saw her like this.

1:49.3

I know that if I saw my daughter like this, I'd really hurt, I'd really feel for her. And I would,

1:53.2

I'd sit her down and I would say, I want you to make a list of all the things that you have to do today, that you must do today. And after you make that

2:02.3

list, I want you to show it to me. And then we're going to look at it together and we're going to

decide, do these things actually have to be done today? That way I would learn the way that she was
