Welcome to talking scripture. I'm Mike and I'm Bryce and today we're going to be

doing the lesson and come following me of first

Nephi 1 through 7 and Bryce I gotta just start off by saying this how do you do

seven chapters in one lesson I mean I know you you could do a whole lesson on one chapter.

Well there's a couple of ways to look at the Book of Mormon and that is let me use science

as an analogy and this may be a good thing to say up front is there is a science that covers the smallest building blocks on Earth

and that's chemistry covers elements and you could spend a whole lifetime at the element level.

But then you begin to combine elements into organic compounds.

Then there's a whole other science that's

studies organic compounds and you could spend hours and hours studying organic compounds that's

biochemistry and then there's a you could combine organic compounds and make a

cell just a single cell, one cell, and there's an entire

science of cell biology that you could spend a lifetime studying cell biology, then you can

combine cells into organisms.

And then there's another science and so the idea is

understand that the Book of Mormon is the same way. You can study

there is enough in each individual
