When you start saying no, there's this big like, ugh, what if they don't ever ask me again?

What if I'm disappointing all these people?

Because it's also a different response than they expect if that's, if your answer has always been yes.

So it's really hard.

But man, once I started saying no to things I didn't want to do, it was like a drug.

It was like a new drug.

Like, holy shit.

That felt so good.

Like maybe it felt bad in the moment, but it felt so good because I didn't leave myself again.
