Today we'll be telling the story of St. Christopher, whose feast is celebrated on July 25th. Not much is known about St. Christopher. We know

that he was a third century Christian martyr by the Romans, but that's about it.

Stories about the life of St. Christopher can be traced back to Greece in the sixth

century, but the most popular

version of his story came from the 13th century book, The Golden Legend, which is a

collection of Saint Biographies. According to the story, St. Christopher

was a great Keenan Knight man standing at 7.5 feet tall.

St. Christopher is the patron saint of travelers, transportation, bachelors, surfing, storms,, Epilepsy, Gardeners, and Two Things.

Now it's time for our story.

St. Christopher was an imposing man.

He was very tall and very strong and most people were afraid of him.

This made him the perfect person to work as a bodyguard for the King of Canaan.

He liked his job and did it well, but one day Christopher decided that he wanted to serve the greatest king there ever was.

So he left the king of Canaan and found another king considered to be the greatest in that land.
