On the evening of April 14th, 1994 a 25-year old Michelle Von Emster asked her roommate to drop her off at the pier to clear her head. This final exchange would mark the last moment Michelle was ever seen alive that night. By the following morning a group of surfers discovered her body floating in the water having sustained gruesome injuries that left officials confused. They assessed a bizarre string of inflictions which seemed likely to be the result of a shark attack, but was there more to this story lurking underneath?
