Pretty big topic, important topic in recovery.

I'm not a pastor.

Are you a pastor?

Definitely not.

I'm not a preacher.

Not that either. Yeah, Ashley.

Ashlyn are you're not and we're not spreading the message to join a church here or anything like that.

But I feel like in some ways I am a preacher in terms of being a therapist because I have such a strong

belief that God is central to recovery and it's really hard to get recovery without a higher power involved.

And so we're not saying a specific God is essential to your recovery,

but I am saying that God is essential to your recovery whatever God means to you.

So we want to break that down and talk about like how that plays into recovery both with with betrayal and with addiction and

and and break that down a little bit so Kobe and I we were just talking and Kobe was saying,

you know, I'm really just coming to terms with this relationship with God

and how that supports you in your recovery.

And I was just wondering if you wanted to say more about that and talk about that.
