Alright, so we are more or less continuing our discussion.

From last time we brought up in chapters 1 through 4, he had gone through different kinds

of beauty and brought up different philosophical questions why we would want to think about

nature or think about human faces as miles of beauty rather than paintings, which is where

most aesthetics tend to start with paintings and music and things.

This one we started out, chapter 5, on artistic beauty.

I kind of thought that the whole second half of the book was like, okay, all this stuff

was prelude or the things that we normally don't talk about when we talk about aesthetics

and this part is going to get down to it.

But no, actually chapter 5, artistic beauty was just kind of another in the series and

it was part of the good general overview of issues in aesthetics.
