Asap Rocky, whose real name is Rakeem Mayers, went on trial

in February 2025, facing two felony counts of assault with a semi-automatic firearm. This is after

he turned down a plea deal, which would have given him 180 days in jail. Now, heading into trial,

he was facing years in prison. This all stemmed from an incident in November 2021 in Hollywood,

California, where prosecutors say ASAP Rocky fired a gun at his former friend Terrell Ephron, known as ASAP Relly.
