you can make a difference. You take ownership of the things that you can do better, rather than

pointing out all the things that the other person needs to be doing better. And you invite God

in the process, and I'm telling you what what you can have a strong marriage.

And I'm very excited to interview them today.

Dave was at Southeast Christian Church in Louisville, Kentucky for 30 years.

In the last 13 years, while Dave served as senior pastor, over 19,000 men, women, and children

decided to follow Jesus and be baptized at Southeast. Over 28,000 joined the

church. Dave has preached in 37 states and maintains a packed itinerary. He is the author of eight

books, including the Parenting Series, Faithful Families. One of his books, Refining Your

Style, won the Preaching Magazine Book

of the Year award.

He is a frequent guest on radio and television programs across the country.

Dave and Beth have been married for 34 years and have hosted Leslie and I for the last

six years for couples' Bible study at their home.

While me and Leslie both came from extremely loving and supporting families, we have learned

a ton from them on marriage and raising children, and I can't wait for all the listeners to learn

from them as well.
