Your project, the Germans war, what it's all about?

Sure.

Yeah.

So I do a long-form history podcast and sometimes I'll pick a topic and I'll do a one-off episode on it.

Other times I'll pick one that requires six, seven, eight episodes, 25, 30, 40 hours to go through the entire thing.

And so I decided to do a series on the Second World War told from the perspective of the Germans, which, you know,

it sets off a lot of alarm bells for people who are sort of enmeshed in the post-war consensus.

You know, they hear that and they think automatically you're going to write a revisionist history

sympathetic to the aims of the national socialists or something like that. It's really not what

this is about. Like, I'm really interested in the German socialists or something like that. It's really not what this is about.

Like, I'm really interested in the German people and what it is that they went through in the

interwar period leading up to the Second World War. And then what they experienced, how things

look to them from, you know, from their perspective during the war itself. There's this interesting
