you know, I'd love to be able to tell you about his brand new book, The Secret History of Gold, but it hasn't been released in the U.S. It won't be released here until June of next year. That's how secret the history is. We can't even have it. But I wanted to catch up with him about, you know, we hear things about going on over in Dominic's neck of the woods over in the UK, and we don't know whether to believe half of them or not.

Also, Dom, who has, let's say he writes a lot of comic songs and he makes controversial videos, and he's got another one of those, and he's run into some trouble with the, you know, the would-be sensors on that. But let's jump into a couple things that are immediately relevant.

I want to talk about Prunella scales, but we'll have to save that for a little later,

because you wrote a beautiful, really interesting thing about her. But you just released a video

on who enslaved the most. Oh, you've seen that. Well, as a matter of fact, and apparently it's gotten

quite a bit of traction. And the purpose of the video is, well, pretty much in its title.

And this is the kind of question that maybe 100 years ago,

we might have looked at from the point of view of just an impartial historian,

curious to find out the answer.

But everything is political these days.

So, of course, a video like this is viewed as

being controversial, even though it's just a list of numbers. I mean, that's what it is. So describe

for me, first of all, what's the purpose and conclusion of the video? Okay, I'll do just that.
