having me can you start off by telling us a bit about

your background? My background is kind of boring. I was born in New York. I lived a little in Jersey,

and I now live again in New York. I was born an Orthodox Jew, still am an Orthodox Jew. I chose

to be a rabbi because I want reward in the afterlife for serving God in this world.

I believe in Judaism. And I've been a rabbi for 30 years, a bit more approximately. I've written

books. I speak a lot. And probably what your audience knows me for is my stance on Zionism,

which I have studied for a very long time,

all of my adult life and most of my adolescent life as well.

And I've come to the conclusion that,

well, the more you know about Zionism,

the harder it is to be a Zionist, especially if you're Jewish and especially if you're an Orthodox Jew.

There's like no room for compatibility over there.

And both in terms of the religion and outside of the religion, in terms of just practicality, Zionism is a liability to the Jews, not even a liability in the net. It's a liability,

period, with nothing on the asset side. And it's something that Jews need, if not to actively
