1:29.5 | He kind of reintroduced this idea of the 10,000 hour rule in his book Outliers back in 2008. |
1:35.7 | And basically, he was arguing that it takes 10,000 hours of deliberate practice to achieve |

1:44.7 | And he based this idea on research from this psychologist, Anders Erickson, |
1:49.5 | who studied this like violinists all around the world. |
1:52.9 | And he found that, you know, these violinists that spend 10,000 hours were able to become |
1:56.8 | the greatest violinist on the planet. |
