Hello everybody, it's Tom Woods, and it's episode 2695 of the Tom Woods Show. And I'm very happy

today to welcome two esteemed gentlemen who have been in the libertarian movement for, I'm not trying

to make you feel old, but longer than I've been alive probably. I don't know. It's Walter Block,

who is a professor of economics at Loyola University,

New Orleans, and Jacob Hornberger, who is president of the Future Freedom Foundation.

Both gentlemen are the authors of numerous books, and today we're going to be talking about

the vexed question of Israel, Palestine, from a libertarian perspective, and is there a particular

stance that a libertarian, per se, ought to take on this matter? Now, we've decided in advance

not to draft any formal resolution, but rather just debate the subject and follow it where it goes,

and the only constraint will be that each debater will have

at a time no more than 10 minutes. And once the 10 minute limit is reached, the other person will speak.

They don't have to go the full 10 minutes, but that will be the only constraint. And there will be no

interruptions by either debater of the other one. and the only interruption I will make is if somebody

runs over the 10 minutes so with that I know that you gentlemen agreed who should go first but I forget

which person you decided on okay Jacob so you're going to go first all right so your 10 minutes start

right now it is my contention Walter during the course of this debate, that your repugnant stands and positions with respect to the Israeli government have greatly damaged the brand of principal libertarianism and Austrian economics, and that you bear 100% responsibility for the social ostracism that you are currently

lamenting that you're experiencing in both of these movements. As you know, for many years,

you have called yourself an anarcho-capitalist. You have told audiences of impressionable libertarians, young libertarians, that anarchy and capitalism are the solution to the woes of people all over the world.

And indeed, you want to abolish the U.S. government, the Congress, the Supreme Court, the presidency.

You want to abolish all the state governments, local governments. You want
