with you today is actually an appearance I made on the Bob Murphy show just days ago. And we had a

great conversation about a lot of topics that I know listeners of this show find interesting.

And this is the kind of banter Bob and I used to have on our old podcast, Contra Krugman. Some of you may remember that podcast. May it rest in peace. And so now you got more Woods and Murphy. So enjoy. Well, Tom, welcome back to the Bob Murphy show. Thank you very much, Bob. Glad to be here. I don't know how many times you've

been on, but I do know, I see it every time I go to Dropbox to upload, you were the first episode

of this podcast. I don't know if you even remember that. I do remember that, and I'm very happy about

that. Michael Bolden was the first guest on the Tom Wood Show because I wanted it to be not predictable. There are obvious candidates

for the first episode, but Michael's just a good guy, and I like him a lot, and so I featured him.

And he is very happy about that. So being the very first guest, it does mean something. You've come a

long way since Old Woods. I don't know why you're regressing. Well, I'm scraping

the bottom of the barrel here, you know. The real guests are traveling. It's the summer. So,

you know, how that goes. All right, well, I was just jotting down notes and, you know, my

supporters group and stuff gave me some ideas. But here, I think the first thing I have to ask you

is, I'm assuming you saw Scott Horton on

Tucker Carlson recently. I did. I knew Scott knew a lot of stuff. I didn't know he could just sit

there and go three hours like a James Michner novel getting into, I assume he pronounced their names

correctly, all sorts of different guys. And yet, I texted him and I said, that's the best I've ever seen you,

where he struck the right balance of not losing the listener, but also showing like, oh, I totally

know what I'm talking about here. Yeah, I absolutely agree. And it's funny, he was coming off

an appearance on another program. I'll just say on another program, not the Tom Wood Show,
