Hey, everybody, Tom Woods here. It's episode 2,57 of the Tom Woods show, and I have two esteemed gentlemen with me today to talk about a matter of very great importance. The fate of a man's life hangs in the balance of what we're talking about today. It really, really, really matters. And at the end, and indeed

throughout this conversation, we are going to call on people listening and watching to take a

justice absolutely demands it. We're talking about a man named Roger Veer,

whom I've had on the Tom Wood Show, that is the least of his credentials. I'm going to have

Steve Patterson tell you a little bit more about Roger, but as I say, whether or not he spends the

rest of his life in prison is hanging in the balance here of this conversation.

So Steve Patterson is the author, a co-author of a book with Roger called Hijacking Bitcoin,

the Hidden History of BTC, which of course is shorthand for Bitcoin.

And we're also joined by the great Robert Barnes, you know, my favorite legal commentator in all the world. His law center is the 1776

Law Center. This is the latest case he's taken on. I want to just jump right in. We're going to start

actually with Steve. If you can please help us understand what we need to know about Roger for this

particular situation. I will say that I personally

met him in 2013 when he and Eric Voorhees took me out for lunch and said, it is a crime, Dr. Tom Woods,

that you don't know anything about Bitcoin. We're going to fix that. And they took me out for

lunch and they completely convinced me. So I've always had kind of sentimental,

happy feelings about Roger Veer because that was a very great decision that I made back in 2013.

So gentlemen, let's start with Steve. Tell us about your book and about Roger.
