taking your time to scale your life, to build your life, to plan your life,

to absorb the things that are happening in your life. I had a conversation

earlier today reminiscing about part of my own scaling. Now, my business is very much linked with my life and my life has been built around

the scaling of my business. So back in 2009, I believe I was living, Randy and I were living in Southern California after spending nearly five years up in Portland, Oregon.

And we realized Southern California wasn't for us.

The opportunity wasn't what we were looking for.

The expectations did not match the reality, and it was time to make a move.

We were grinding.

I mean, we always grind, and we continue to grind.

But our grind in those days was brutal.

And the rewards of the grind was not quite what it is today.

So we were in that work zone, delayed gratification zone.
