Brazil keeps an eye on things and lets me know what's going on.

That's what's going to happen in this episode because in a way the story coming out of

Brazil it could very well be a warning to the U.S.

Like we're not quite there yet, but it's no longer completely implausible

that one day we could be in a situation not unlike what's unfolding in Brazil.

The last one, it was just blitzing through things.

But the thing is there's so much to say, I completely understand. And let me just make clear, in case there's anybody who is unaware,

let me contextualize this episode by saying that Brazil is on the radar of a lot of

non-Brazilians right now because of what's been going on between Brazil and Twitter or X and you don't like X and no it's a dumb name come up but but it doesn't matter we have another episode on that

but obviously there's been an effort to restrict communication via Twitter and there's been

well you can talk about what the trouble that Elon Musk is getting into in Brazil

because he refuses to comply with various demands coming

from the court but in order to get to 2024 and the censorship that is being

threatened with regard to Twitter, we have to start the story

...
