Summary
"Before you diagnose yourself with depression or low self-esteem, first make sure that you are not, in fact, just surrounded by assholes."
In Episode 24 Deanna and Frances are discussing the disturbing trend of self-diagnosing and the importance of correcting a misdiagnosis so that a person can get adequate and effective treatment.
While we applaud anyone who is practicing the art of being self aware and tuning into the fact that they are experiencing unpleasant symptoms, in this episode we are discussing the importance of seeking proper evaluation from a medical profession so that we aren't falling into the trap of self diagnosis via the vast land of the unreliable Internet.
