Summary
Encouraging a strong relationship with ourselves by having more love and compassion is not always easy. In this episode, Melissa discusses how we can show ourselves more love by thinking about this simple question - who is the one person you’re going to be with for the rest of your life? You! So in this episode she breaks down a few steps for honoring ourselves. These include how we speak to ourselves, honoring our needs, and carving out space to take care of ourselves. She touches on her favorite books that have helped with these practices, the importance of positive affirmations, creating healthy boundaries, and a flexible approach to consistency. Showing ourselves more love is a constant practice to improve how we fill up our cup in all aspects of our lives physically, mentally and spiritually. As always, Melissa likes to start with small actionable steps that we can practice on a daily basis to give that love to the most important person in our lives.
