twisted logic would compel you to bring your horse to the bank?

No, even in the Old West, when you would physically ride a horse to the bank, you wouldn't

try to take the horse inside of the bank with you.

That would be crazy. Even in the Old West and Deadwood, that would have made no sense.

In the modern world, in which you and I live live you don't take your horse to a bank

You don't take your horse to Capital One or Bank of America because that would be insane
