Summary

Here in the United States, we celebrated Thanksgiving yesterday! So, in the spirit of giving thanks, Scott Pinyard, This Naked Mind’s head coach, sits down with 4 amazing women who were members of the PATH (our year-long, one-on-one coaching program) at This Naked Mind. These ladies each have their own unique stories and experiences, but in these 4 short interviews, you’ll not only hear what these women are grateful for, but also how they’ve woven the practice of showing gratitude into their daily habits.

Are you ready for a deep dive into truly lasting change? If so, you might consider my Intensive Program. It’s a 9-week, self-led program that you can do in the complete comfort of your own home. It will truly transform your relationship with alcohol. If you want to learn more about this, go to thisnakedmind.com/intensive. And, as always - rate, review, and subscribe to this podcast, as it truly helps the message reach somebody who might need to hear it today.

Hey everybody, it's Scott Pinyard, head coach of this naked mind and I'm back for another

0:32.6

episode of the This Naked Mind podcast. I'm doing something a little bit different this month,

0:38.0

right? Normally I take the questions that you guys send in and I answer them, but I'm changing

0:43.9

up the format and here's why. It's November and here in the States we have a holiday in November

0:49.4

called Thanksgiving, which is all about being thankful. There's a lot of discussion of being

0:54.6

thankful and gratitude in the air and I was thinking it would be really great to get the

0:59.1

perspective from some of the people who have been through our programs on what gratitude has

1:05.5

meant to them in this process of going alcohol free. That's exactly what I did. I have four interviews

1:12.3

for you all from our year-long coaching program called The Path and here's what I want you to

1:17.5

listen for. They have very different experiences, but what I want you to listen for are the things

1:22.9

that you can connect with, the things that they say where you're like, wow, maybe I could be thankful

1:28.4

for that. If you don't currently have a gratitude practice, it's totally okay. A lot of people don't.

1:34.3

And after the interviews, I'm going to give you a couple of gratitude exercises that you can start

1:38.9

doing today to start changing the way you think about your life and your journey. So no matter where

1:45.2

you are on the journey, these four interviews are going to be really helpful for you. Without any further

1:49.9

ado, here they are. All right. Well, I am here with Jill. How's it going, Jill?

1:56.0

It's going well. Thanks. And this month we're talking about gratitude. I've been doing these

2:01.8

interviews over the last month or so and talking to people like you who are finishing up the path.

2:07.7

But before we dive into that, I'd love to just hear a couple of minutes on your story. How did

2:12.8

you get to where you are today? Oh my gosh, what a loaded question. I know, right? You can take that
