We just wrapped up watching the Bears' final practice before their first preseason game, which takes

place Thursday night at Soldier

Field against the Carolina Panthers. A couple news and notes, Matt Nagy will not reveal who will

play and who will not play in the preseason game cam, but safe to say he's been dropping some hints

that we're not going to see a whole lot of important players playing in this game, or at least starters playing

in this game. You don't think we're going to see some Eddie Jackson blitzes on the first quarter

of the game. No. Yeah, I think you're right in that if Bears fans are looking to see

Mitch Trubisky sling 19 of 21, it's probably not going to happen. At the most, I think you might see a series,

but even then, I'm sort of doubting if Trubisky will even play. The Panthers, by the way,

Cam are not playing Cam Newton, your guy. My guy. My guy. He's now your guy. And Luke Keeckley.

They will both not be playing Thursday. So we're talking about two of the best players on the Panthers, arguably, will not play on Thursday.

I think the Bears will probably wind up following suit.

I don't think Mitch even dresses.

Yeah, I mean, it'll be interesting if, you know, he gets a series or not.

I mean, there's no reason to play Khalil Mack.

There's no reason to play Akeem Hicks, Kyle Fuller, Eddie Jackson, any of your all pros are pro bowlers from last year. You know, guys who do need to play, I think, well,

we'll get into that later in the podcast, just certain guys we're going to be looking for

on Thursday. Just to wrap up some notes from today's practice. It was a better day for the Yeah, I thought so. They played pretty well. Yeah, you know, and I kind of made a note that it seemed like they were running the ball a little bit more today.

Like there were more designed runs. And that maybe helped open up some play action.

Yeah. We saw a little bit more play action. And it just kind of kept, it made things feel less predictable.
