| 0:10.7 | feeling confident and in control around food. You are absolutely capable of eliminating |
| 0:16.3 | binge eating from your life and I'm going to show you how by giving you simple tools and insights that |
| 0:21.5 | you can apply in your own life. I'm your host, Kirst and Sarty. Now let's get to it. Hi, today I'm going to |
| 0:30.4 | talk with you about deserving to eat certain foods. I wanted to do an episode on this topic because |
| 0:35.4 | one of the thoughts that comes up often for people when it comes to food is I deserve this. |
| 0:40.8 | They might think they deserve to eat a joy food or something they normally wouldn't eat or to eat more food than usual because of some reason. |
| 0:49.3 | They exercised, they had a hard day, they were super productive, they lost weight. Those are just a few of the common |

| 1:39.5 | Now, to be clear, this is different from times when you make a decision to not eat something for reasons |
| 1:44.6 | you like, such as you won't feel good if you eat it. There are plenty of times when I decide to |
| 1:50.3 | not eat something because of how I think I'll feel if I eat it. But what I don't do is tell |
| 1:56.3 | myself, I can't eat it because I don't deserve to, because I haven't earned it. I don't decide what I eat |
| 2:03.4 | or don't eat based on whether or not I deserve it because I believe I always deserve it. |
