After I graduated college, I noticed that church communities really didn't know what to do with

singles.

We were valued, but esteem came when we fit into this

perfect little mold of what everyone thought we were supposed to be. The church knew how to talk

to married couples, how to talk to children or teens, and there was ministry for all of that.

But where did this single adult fit? Now as a church leader, I am adamant and passionate about this phrase, and I say it often at church.
