0:20.1	that impact our life. Let's think about this. From friends to family, to dating, to marriage, I'm always asking,
0:26.7	how can we do this better? Today's conversation is lengthier than usual, but I feel like it's
0:32.1	really important. So instead of me massaging the topic and giving my thoughts on the front end
0:36.2	of our time together, I really wanted you all to be part of the conversation as a whole.
0:40.3	Today we're going to be talking about singleness.

0:47.8	Because sometimes we are prone to forget, ignore, or disengage from people who aren't like us
0:52.5	or they're not in this season that we're in.
0:55.6	As a follower of Jesus, I never want to ostracize or ignore a huge part of the body of Christ.
1:00.9	That's why this conversation is so important.
1:03.8	After I graduated college, I noticed that church communities really didn't know what to do with
1:08.2	singles.
1:09.1	We were valued, but esteem came when we fit into this
1:12.5	perfect little mold of what everyone thought we were supposed to be. The church knew how to talk
1:17.4	to married couples, how to talk to children or teens, and there was ministry for all of that.
1:21.7	But where did this single adult fit? Now as a church leader, I am adamant and passionate about this phrase, and I say it often at church.
