| 0:35.9 | The seventh chapter is kind of a big deal. |
| 0:38.5 | This is the discussion of the superiority of Christ priesthood. |
| 0:42.4 | That the Melchizedic priesthood is superior to the Levitical priesthood that existed during |
| 0:49.2 | all the time period from Moses to the time of Christ. |
| 0:53.0 | And as Latter-day Saints, we are blessed because we have some restoration texts which have |
| 0:57.6 | told us more about who Melchizedic is. |
| 1:01.6 | But if all you have is the Bible, it's pretty tough to kind of understand the arguments |
| 1:07.1 | that are happening here, especially as they regard to Melchizedic. |
| 1:11.6 | Another theme in these chapters discusses the importance of faith. |
| 1:16.2 | This idea of a reciprocal trust that believers have to have in Jesus and as they do, their |
| 1:22.4 | faith is strengthened and they are able to continue on the gospel journey. |
| 1:27.2 | Along with this idea of faith is the importance that the author is emphasizing on the sufficiency |
| 1:33.0 | of Christ's sacrifice. |
