We just wrap, well, you are great. Where? You are great, Moon. We just wrapped up watching the Bears first practice after an off day of training camp. A couple of notes to start off. Disappointing for Adam Shaheen again. He showed up to practice and pads. And pretty shortly after he took the pads off and did not participate again in practice. Matt

Nagy said they're still trying to be cautious with Shaheen, but you know, Cam Allison and I talked

about this on our last podcast on Tuesday that he's got to get out there on the field. The bears

have bet so heavily on him especially at this tight end spot where they didn't do a whole lot

in the off season to address it beyond getting some undrafted free agents converting Bradley sold a tight end. They're banking on Adam Shaheen

to play well this year and the Bears need him to stack some practices and right now he's

not able to do that.

No, and I think that if there's a dark horse in this, I don't know if we've touched on this

before, has Ben Broniker, who they thought enough of to give a nice three-year extension to, and he's

running with the ones. I mean, we're not allowed to say those kind of things, of course.

They come from the head coach. We can't talk about rosters and death charts and all that.

Right. But he is kind of, I would say, moved ahead of Shaheen only because he's there. He's there, yeah. So you're seeing packages with, you know, the soul of, you know,

the jumbo tight end and Broniker and Broniker and Trey Burton. I mean, they're all mixing and

match. We're not giving away any trade seekers. But what we're not seeing, as you said, is

Adam Sheehan and any of these things in an offense that's kind of faltering anyway. Yeah. Yeah. I'm not, I'm not hitting the, you know, panic button on the offense right now.

We're still so early into training camp, you know, it's really only going to matter how they look on September 5th.

But, you know, it's been up and down.

There have been some good spurts where, you know, like we were talking before the Pod Moon, like Marvin Hall had a really good practice today. But your counter to that was...

That's great, but they really need Anthony Miller have a great practice. Right. That's found money.

That's the $5 bill you found in your jeans pocket before he put it in the wash.
