Welcome back to another episode on the Aaron Dowdy podcast today. I have my best friend Victor Odo who is he's here to we're doing a we're gonna be talking about a whole bunch of different stuff today and

0:17.0

yeah just really sharing with you also what happened yesterday because yesterday Victor came over and many of you know Victor Victor's my best friend he's a YouTuber he's a coach

0:29.5

runs retreat he does a whole bunch of different stuff but him and I also you know we have a we have a full-time purpose which is like a company that we have

0:37.9

together we teach people to go full-time doing what they love and yeah we both got houses in Sedona we live here now but thank you for coming on the

0:44.9

podcast you're welcome it's an honor awesome so yeah let's share a little bit about you know first off how you doing I'm doing good man I've been staying with Aaron these past couple

0:54.0

days he's been nice enough to have me as a guest and me and Aaron would remember we should take these trips probably three or four times a year where we I

1:02.1

leave the family we mean you go off on a vacation yeah it was very nice and now that we both live in Sedona we haven't been doing that we

1:09.3

just go home to the houses so I'm kind of cool recapturing that that sort of situation which has been very good for me as a father and someone who's very involved with the

1:19.1

family to kind of break away and just sort of that's got to be a time for you recently right like yeah realizing because I think back in the day I

1:27.0

remember especially when you first started hanging out like three or four years ago we would you know when you'd be away from the kids you'd be

1:34.0

feeling really guilty like I should be there yeah and I need to be around all the time you know and it was like a a constant I think battle for you to

1:42.4

really become okay with not being around 24 seven yeah yeah you know I see that theme in a lot of people like wanting something for

1:50.1

themselves and then a guilt associated with it as a logical as it may be as in my case you as Aaron knows I spend a ridiculous amount of time with my

2:00.4

family I put it in saying about emphasis about being a good father you know me and Aaron do plant medicine a lot of the time is my

2:08.2

intention is how do I become a better father yeah and yet in spite of that I work from home yeah you know I play go to the park

2:14.6

every day with the kids but in spite of that when I would come just to do something for myself whether it be pursue my own

2:20.9

passions with like YouTube or something or come to visit Aaron as another example there would be this extreme

2:26.9

extreme level of guilt very very like illogical and out of place but it's a very powerful feeling guilt fear

2:35.3

his emotion so they would they would successfully prevent me from enjoying myself and allowing myself to fly in a sense

2:44.0

whether it be hanging out with you yep or or pursuing my my passions or whatever it is so it's better a big theme as

2:50.7

yeah I think I think the way that I grew up I grew up and you know my dad's a firefighter so he's gone 24 hours a day back 24 hours

2:57.8

a day like on and off for like eight or nine days so I'm used to that and then when I see you and it's like you're working
