Aidan Roberts returns to the podcast! Aidan is at the cutting edge of bouldering and is one of the most genuine people I’ve had the pleasure of talking to. We talk about professional climbing and today’s media landscape, and he brings us up to speed on the last year and a half of his climbing and shares the full stories of ‘Spots of Time’ and ‘Arrival of the Birds’, two new boulders proposed 9A/V17. We recorded this a couple of days after my chat with him and Sam on their podcast. I was honored to join them and I loved the conversation. 0:11.8	Aidan, of course, is one of the very best boulders in the world.

0:22.0	And he's been on the show twice before. We did two episodes about a year and a half ago. His first one was episode 142, and we did a

0:35.3	And I haven't talked to him much since. It's been really fun to
0:39.4	follow his podcast. He and his co-host Sam Pryor have a podcast called The Careless Talk
0:46.1	podcast. They put out episodes every week and it's been really fun to follow his journey with that.
0:51.3	But I'm guessing that many of you fall into two different camps. Aden is a pretty
0:56.2	private guy and doesn't talk much about his climbing on social media. So unless you follow him
1:01.8	closely, some of you might not have any idea what he has been up to. And I'm guessing that
1:08.6	many of you know exactly what Aden's up to because you've listened to every single episode of his podcast.
1:13.8	So I really tried to have all of you in mind with this episode.
1:18.1	I wanted to bring all of you up to speed on what Aden's been up to and also talk about things and ask him some questions that I hadn't heard him talk about before
1:28.4	when it comes to his last year and a half of climbing. So yeah, we really got into it in this episode.
