by not quite an old friend, a more or less a newer friend, and that is the great magician doc Dixon.

And notice, I have not described him as a libertarian magician. And the reason is when somebody is

introduced as a libertarian musician or a libertarian movie maker, I'm not entirely sure about their

music or their movies, frankly. This guy is a great magician who happens to be a libertarian.

That's how it should be. You be your thing and be great at your thing first.

And then whatever else you have on the ideological side, either can come through or it doesn't

have to in the work you do. Just be good at your thing. And my goodness, Doc Dixon is good.

I've had him on the show before because he fooled Penn and Teller on their excellent television

program, Fool Us. We talked about that. But then since then, Doc has done a few interesting things

in the Tom Woods universe. For one thing, as a supporting listener of the Tom Woods show, you get

invited to my parties. Now, so if Doc, I'm sorry, it's a long introduction, but I gotta give it.

So Tom, you're just saying really great things about you.
