questions with Daniel Mays. He's an actor that I've always wanted to get on this podcast. His talent,

I think it is truly immense. Every time I see him in something, he blows me away. He graduated from Rada in

2000. Mike Lee cast him in both All or Nothing and Vera Drake.

Maze has said that working with Lee was decisive in making him the kind of actor he wanted to be.

Daniel's been in so many things, so many great things.

Recently, he's been in movies such as 1917 and fishermen's friends.

Recent TV shows such as DES, which was all about Dennis Nielsen, the serial killer.

White Lines, which was on Netflix and Code 404, which was on Sky.

So certainly does the rounds in the world of TV.

Hey, Daniel, how are you?

Very good, Tim. How's it going, mate?

Yeah, in the middle of the pandemic, it's all right.

Sort of, you know, just juggling along. You're still managing to do some work, though, aren't you? I have worked. I've shot the second series of both Code 404 and

Temple. So that's been keeping me very busy. It's been great to have something to focus on, you know. I feel blessed

so many of my acts of mates, they're not doing anything. And so I'm counting my lucky stars. I've

been able to go back. I mean, it's blown my mind how much effort and work's gone into it from a production side of things.
