I believe that creating new versions of your personal or our collective reality can only happen when we embrace new stories and a new consciousness by taking responsibility for creating the future we desire. This is the cause of peace, joy, abundance and connection. I work with clients to facilitate individual state changes and I write/speak to teach and inspire us all to imagine, to choose and to create new ways of living.
I grew up an Evangelical in rural East Texas, but later staffed both of Obama’s presidential campaigns and spent six years based in DC working in foreign policy. Three of these years were spent starting and then running an Afghan advocacy organization that worked with both right and left wing policy figures. Burned out by the reality of systemic politics, I spent the next six years running sales for VC backed green-tech startups. And then…Well, then I finally accepted that not only were the systems of the world I had placed my trust in broken, but I needed help too.
I found coaches and teachers, I learned how to reprogram myself by healing my past and choosing my lived experience. I picked at the wounds of my fundamentalist evangelical upbringing, rediscovering God and Love with the help of plant medicine and teachers that reminded me daily practice is the path to knowing the “silent voice within.”
