What's up guys? Welcome back to the pod. Happy Monday. Today I am going to be doing a recap of a podcast episode of the Ezra Klein show titled,

What Relationships would you want if you believed they were possible?

And my girlfriend, Molly, actually sent me this episode and she said, I thought, I think you'd really love this. So I listened, listened twice and took notes because I had to share it with you guys because it was so interesting, so full of interesting ideas.

So I'm gonna do a deep dive on it and let you know what it's all about.

So this podcast is a conversation between Ezra Klein and Rayna Cohen.

And she has a book coming out called

Reimagining Life with friendship at the center.

So you can probably already guess why I love this so much

as someone who is so obsessed with their friends

and takes my friendships really seriously.

It's funny because I ended Friday's episode being like,

Sheena is so performative when she talks about friendship and now I'm like,

my friends are so important to me, but they really are.

I have often wondered why my friends are so important to me.

I'm really into kind of digging deep

as to why things are the way they are lately like whenever I have an

emotion or reaction to something really wanting to dig deep on that but that's

another episode and you know some reasons that I have come up with are that I moved

away from school or from home when I was, you know, 19 and moved so far away from my family.

Maybe it's that I didn't have a big extended family available to me when I was younger.

Maybe it's just that I didn't have a huge family. family available to me when I was younger.
