Summary

Welcome back, friends! This week we are talking about finding hope in hard places. Our guest, Levi Lusko, is a pastor, author, podcaster, and church planter. But one of his most cherished role is that of father. Several years ago, I remember learning about the tragic passing of daughter Lenya and it hit way too close to home. Pastor Levi is going to share some amazing learnings on finding hope in hard places. Hope can only be experienced after grief. Four lessons on grief that I’ve compiled from my book How To Have Your Life Not Suck are: Acknowledge Reality Accept Reactions Avoid Remedying Affirm Reengaging If we know how to grieve well, we will heal well. And faster. In addition to being able to survive pain and loss, I believe we can also know how to deal with those who will walk through the Valley of the Shadow of Death… and you can let them know, “you will fear no evil” (Psalm 23:1). Pastor Levi has so many books and amazing resources that you should check out. It would mean the world if you tagged him @levilusko and @biancaolthoff on social media and shared what you learned. As my thank you to you, two lucky winners will get a copy of Through The Eyes of a Lion: Facing Impossible Pain, finding Incredible Power. If you haven't yet, subscribe to this podcast and leave a loving review. This helps get this show into more ears and more hearts. Thanks for joining and I can’t wait to chat next week! 🖤 B Resources: Fresh Life Church Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
