0:08.8

My co-host, Crystal Williams is here. We are having conversations weekly, twice weekly, about anything and everything that, you know,

0:20.2

could help you through any sort of transition in your life. We have really funny, honest, thoughtful, curious conversations about health,

0:27.6

honest, and spirituality, entrepreneurship, sexuality, social issues. We cover it all. So we're really happy you're here. Yeah, we don't have, we don't have the answers, but

0:40.0

we try to bring on people that do. Yeah, we're learning right along with you. So here we are. Here we are. What are you learning right now? Right now.

0:50.2

I don't know.

0:51.5

I mean, such a, you know, I guess I'm in such a doing phase, but I'm just trying to talk to myself more and to one thing that I've been actually really doing a lot is talking to my body and like telling my body it's safe.

1:07.5

I think we, it's great. We maybe had a conversation with someone a while ago and she mentioned something about that. And that really resonated with me. You know, if you're someone that has

1:17.8

went through a period of overexercising too much stress, maybe under eating, overeating, not eating nutritiously, not sleeping, drug benches, drinking a lot.

1:31.8

You know, there's a lot of periods in time in your life when you probably just respected your body. There definitely has to be your body escaped your body, abused your body, not been kind to your body.

1:43.8

And in a way, I've been thinking about how that potentially could disconnect me from my body and my spirit. And I've been thinking so much lately about how much more, and I think a lot of people are this way.

1:54.8

We use our brains, then our body and our spirit. I definitely am that person, you know, my using my brain so much has helped me to become successful, you know, in certain areas of my life, you know, for at a point, whatever, not saying.

2:10.8

It also just runs the show and a lot more. It should be more of our body and our spirit that is running the show. Yeah.

2:17.8

So by telling myself, you know, my body that I am safe, it's like gone through so many years of not being safe, of being too stressed out, of being worried that I'm going to push it too far or worried that I'm going to

2:31.8

hate it or talk poorly to it or say mean things or, you know, whatever it is. And now just telling it like, okay, you're safe with me.

2:41.8

Like I respect you. I love you. You're safe with me. Like I respect you. I love you. You're safe with me. Has been really nice. And I'm just trying to continue to practice that, you know, from a spiritual perspective.

2:52.8

So that no matter what my body knows that, you know, like I got it's back.

2:56.8

Yeah. Yeah, I think that's beautiful. And it's like with you always, you know, it's like, that's the one thing, you know, we can like kind of seek a lot of things, but like your body has been with you the whole time and to respect it as kind of the carrier of your soul and your heart and like all of that.

3:22.8

Yeah, I mean, yeah, it's weird to think about it. It's like if you think about your family or, you know, a friend that you've had for a long time, it's like they've been there through it all.

3:30.8

It's like your body has been there through it. You know, your body is listening to you and has been listening to you, sends you were very, very little and has been working hard for you, adjusting to everything that you've been doing.

3:44.8

That's a huge thing too about the body is that we do all of these things, you know, with our lives and the stressors and the pollutants and and our body just adjust figures out, you know, figures out a way to get better and to feel better and to work with the situations that we put it in so much and you know, we never really give a credit.

4:04.8

The body knows how to heal. You know, the body is like confused when you're doing things to kill it unintentionally. Yeah, you know, like drinking, like doing drugs, like doing, you know, whatever it is, like the body is like, huh? Yeah.
