My name is Philip Kulenshov and this is 300 seconds about business.

We're all a busy people, so I have five minutes or less to get my point across.

This will be over before you know it.

A couple episodes ago, I talked about the importance of building systems and processes if you want to scale your business.

The business won't grow past a certain level without adequate systems.

But I know that many entrepreneurs and business owners are not wired for system thinking. They have great ideas and can inspire others. They are risk on and have grand ambitions.

That sort of drive is crucial and indispensable for business growth. The car needs gas in the tank.

And yet, it also isn't enough. Systems are in fact necessary. So, if you're a business

owner who is risk on and driven to grow but can't seem to build the proper systems, one option for you

is to hire or partner with a person who can help you. But what if you're the person on the other

side of that equation? What if you're a competent, hungry, and disciplined individual who

would love to be a business owner but can't seem to get traction in starting or owning a business?

Starting a business isn't for you and buying one isn't either. How can you enter into business

ownership? Here's an option. Find a smaller business in chaos with an owner who is risk on and offer your help.

Maybe you don't have the needed levels of drive and ambition to start and lead a business.

Maybe you aren't any good with sales and marketing, but thrive in operations and administration.

Maybe what you do have is structure, discipline, attention to detail, and an ability to make things happen.

Those sorts of people rise the ranks of the corporate world and become executives in large

firms.

They make good money and have a well-deserved sense of accomplishment.

That's a great option.
