Even when I'm not there they're saying oh that was great

when my boy was on it doesn't even make sense grammatically but they've been not at all not

not one of my best friends when I was growing up I always called them the boy and because that's

what his older brother who is also one of my good friends called them it's like it's the boy and

we just always be like the boy and so I've always tried to recreate that nickname. But then I added the my, which is very possessive instead of just saying, you're the boy. I should have went with, you're the boy. My boy's good. My boy's yeah. Yeah, yeah. You're doing well? I am doing fantastically well. Well, fantastic and highly favored, as they say. That's such a good line. Do you know my favorite line when somebody says like, how you doing? I always say better than I deserve, which is just C.J. Mahaney. I just stole that from him. That's like that one I like, but it's also the most like reformed Calvinist thing. Better than I deserve. I deserve nothing but death. You know, it's like just, you could have just said good. But the problem is like sometimes you're not good. Like, and you're not fine. I wanted to get away from just being like, oh, I'm good, man. I'm good. That would be my default. It seems so, I don't know how to word this. It just seems so fake for everybody to be like, hey, man, how you doing? I'm fine. I'm good. I'm just picturing you in line in the drive-thru at Tim Hortons and you get up to the window and they're like, hey, how are you doing it? And you're like, better than I deserve, man. And they're like, okay, what can we get started for you? And you're like, I don't know, I just, I don't even deserve to be in this line. I'm such a wretch. Yeah, that's, so listen. Black coffee. Listener. Yeah, that's true. Black coffer. Like, don't be miserable. That's what we're saying. It's okay to say that, but you can't be miserable when you

say it. Truth is, though, like, I can't speak for everybody, but I would say a lot of the people I surround like, generally are happy people. When you're like, oh, I'm doing great. I'm doing fantastic. I genuinely believe that about you. Like, you know what I mean? So, like, it's not like one of those, it's like, well, Aiton, you just literally off air told me about 10 things that are going on.

I was like, no, generally we are happy.

You know what I mean?

So like, I get it like it's good.

Is I generally say this to older women. I don't know why, but this just sticks in my brain and I might get myself in trouble here. but I often say better now that I've seen you.
