| 0:00.0 | Sarah, are you bringing that pop up toilet you have on your trip back to LA or is it staying in Minnesota? |
| 0:08.0 | The portable toilet is staying in Minnesota. I'm feeling like we have our COVID protocols in place now. |
| 0:17.0 | So, so that's going to stay here. I don't know what I'm going to do with it here. |
| 0:22.0 | Oh my God, that's my favorite purchase of the pandemic. |
| 0:29.0 | Hi and welcome to Happier and Hollywood, the podcast about how to be happier, healthier, sane, or more creative, |
| 0:41.0 | more successful, and more productive in a back-fighting, superficial, chaotic, unpredictable, fundamentally insane world. |
| 0:48.0 | I'm Liz Kraft, a TV writer and producer living in LA, and with me is my high school friend and writing partner Sarah. |
| 0:55.0 | That's me, Sarah Fane. On this podcast, we talk about being writers in Hollywood, how we balance a career, and friendship, and how to survive the war of attrition that is life in Los Angeles. |
| 1:06.0 | In today's episode, we're going to talk about haters. They're going to hate. They are, and there's nothing to do about it. It might even be a good thing. |

| 1:24.0 | And this week's Hollywood Hack turns something basic into a little pickup. |
| 1:28.0 | And Sarah, we have an update today. This is our last recording with you in Minnesota. So, you are hitting the road. You're coming back to Los Angeles. |
| 1:39.0 | Yes, I'm leaving tomorrow morning, bright and early. It's four long days of driving. Then I will be in LA. Liz, next time we do this, will it at least be in the same city? |
| 1:52.0 | I know. Maybe we're even going to see each other. We haven't seen each other for over eight months, I guess. |
| 1:58.0 | I know. And we've already talked to Kimberly about having a sushi lunch in your backyard. So, a nice socially distanced lunch. |
| 2:06.0 | Yes, I can't wait. Meet you. We'll see you meet Kimberly. It's all going to be wonderful. Yes. |
| 2:12.0 | Okay, it's time for from the treadmill desu, or we talk about what's most pressing in our worksickies. And this week it's haters going to hate. |
| 2:21.0 | So, first I have to shout out to Taylor Swift, who's easily the most played artist in my house. |
| 2:27.0 | I think I, at this point, know most of the words to most of our songs. But this actually came up for us because we got a really unpleasant email, kind of out of the blue and insinuating all these things that are not true. |
| 2:40.0 | And it's spurred a conversation about how if you put yourself out there at all, someone is going to be pissed about it. |
| 2:47.0 | Yes, it's a kin to something my sister says, which is strong voice is a tract, but they also repel. It's like if you just put yourself out there in any fashion, someone is not going to like it. |
