0:49.4	Today I'm really, really excited and delighted because I've speaking to the wonderful Annie Grace. Hi,
0:56.3	Annie. Hi Gail. So wonderful to be here. You too. Thank you. So how's the weather where you are?
1:03.7	Looks lovely and sunny. It is sunny today. We've had snow up until recently but it's really,
1:09.9	I think it's turning a corner, hopefully. So yeah, lovely, lovely. Well, for those people who don't know
1:17.9	and I'm not sure there's many of those around but could you just introduce yourself and tell us
1:24.0	a little bit about you, please? Yeah, of course. So my name is Annie Grace and I've written two books,
1:31.1	this naked mind and the alcohol experiment and both books, specifically this naked mind as it
1:36.5	was my first came from, you know, really my own journey in finding myself in corporate life,
1:41.5	drinking far more than I ever intended and using it to cope even when I didn't really drink much
1:46.9	in high school or in college and really wondering why when I tried to cut back, it felt painful,
1:53.2	it felt like I was missing out or I was depriving myself of something, especially when I didn't
1:57.2	feel like that before when I had such vivid memories of having a great time with that alcohol,
2:01.6	it relaxing without alcohol and really my journey to say, okay, the big pivotal question was,
2:07.2	well, what changed and how did it change and what does that mean? And so I did something sort of
2:13.5	bizarre, I stopped trying to manage it and moderate and quit drinking. I just said, all right,
2:19.9	I'm going to let that kind of be for a minute because it had been causing me so much internal
