of mighty capital, Jennifer Vassini.

Jennifer has been investing for 10 plus years before becoming a full-time investor.

She held executive roles in corporate and strategic business development,

specifically in the high-growth security and

mobile sectors with companies such as Telephonica, Simbian Nokia, and Serticom, which he helped take public in Canada.

Jennifer serves on private and non-profit boards

and is currently the vice chair of a Dean's Advisory Council

at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver

where she completed her MBA.

Thank you, Cameron. I'm really pleased to be here and looking forward to the discussion

today.

Yeah, this is going to be really interesting and you're the second person from a VC firm that I've had on the

podcast and I think we've done almost 200 episodes now and the only one other one that I can remember

having is from backstage capital, a group out of the US that they only invest in women-owned businesses and predominantly I think minority-owned businesses as well.

But tell us a little bit about your firm and what your role is in the firm as well and kind of how you fit because people maybe aren't really sure how VC firms act.
