All right, everybody. Welcome back. Sam's army episode 2.182. We got a lot to talk about this week. A lot of World Cup soccer specifically and even more specifically the USA. Maybe we'll touch on some other stuff, but we're going to focus on our red, white and blue boys.

Oh, let's get into it. So first our distinguished panel this week. So Tommy McGunner, fresh off a flight from Qatar. How are you feeling, sir?

Pretty good. Not jet lagged at all. So nice. You got a little way station in London. So yeah, it's pretty easy, easy travels. We'll get into your your Doha experience a little bit. So we'll keep this moving. Antoine Hoppano is joining us as well. Probably love in life. Now that France just keeps winning and winning and winning.

How are you feeling, sir? Feeling great. I said it in the beginning. The deepest team. It doesn't matter who's playing. They're just going to roll through teams and that's what they're doing.

So far so good. Last but not least Tyler Terrance looking like hot death. How are you, sir?

We had to give him a wake up call and he literally just rolled out of bed and onto the computer. So just keep that in mind with whatever takes are about to come out of that mouth of his.

So we will then let's get started here. Okay, USA England. We're going to do a reaction and then we're going to, of course, going to get into USA Iran preview. But let's start with the reaction. Actually, let's start with our boots on the ground reporter.

Robyn reporter, Tommy McCabe. So what were the, you know, what were the pregame vibes like in guitar?

I was there for a lot of the pregame. We got to like three hours early because it took a while to get to the stadium and then it takes even longer to get into the stadium.

But yeah, people were US showed out. We had some pretty good seats and like the AO supporters section and a ton of people were there.

A ton of American flags. Yeah, I think people were, were pretty excited pregame.

And that was like, I don't think anyone, at least the people I talked to, nobody was like really, really nervous or negative, which I bet all the nerves and negativity were coming from English fans, like always.

But yeah, it was pretty positive and pretty exciting. How are the interactions with English English fans?

Okay, one thing about the English fans in this, this has to be strictly English because you see it at every other game.

They love putting up the Union Jack or the English flag wherever they are.

And so a bunch of times supporter English supporters would like come down to the American section and try to put their flag right over an American one.

And that's just, just not a good idea for that game at all or any game.

So that was, that was probably the only interaction with them. Other than that, they were pretty several.

I think that's what happens when you take away the 12 pregame pines from the English.

They are at least for some to drink but zeros instead of ever else. Yeah, was the, was it sort of noticeable how little stumbling and you know, just drunk and yelling there was was it noticeable how sober everybody was.

Yeah, we, a lot of people were convinced and it was like a running joke that this World Cup was just to get fans fit because it was like a two mile walk to each game.

It's hot out and there's no drinking allowed.
