It's October, and that means Halloween, a time of fantastical horror, when the worst creatures of the human imagination rise from their night black layers to spread terror and destruction until one of them is elected president.

It's typical at this time of year to recommend some spooky entertainments to help you set the eerie mood for the big night when we all head to the voting booth to demand we be given some free treats, less we throw toilet paper over the White House.
