At 3.30pm on Monday, December 26, 2005, the body of Laquita Meghunter was found in an alleyway

along North Beach Street in Daytona Beach, about a block west of the Halifax River.

Investigators told the Daytona Beach News Journal that her body likely had been lying there

for 48 hours before it was found, meaning that she was killed on Christmas Eve.

Laquita's partially clothed body was found by a customer at the car parts store in the vicinity.

Julie was shot execution-style, as was Laquita. Both were found face-down and nude.
