Well, I'm joined by two guests who are going to tell us just that. Andrew Crapuchettes of Redballoon.org and Michael Seifert of PublicSq. They've just released a huge new report called the Freedom Economy Index which compiled data from over 50,000 small businesses that are on the Red Balloon and PublicSq networks to gain insight into the success of these businesses - they're hiring trends, their sense of optimism, and their perspective on the political future of our country and our economy.

| 1:44.0 | It's great to see you guys. And I got to tell you this is so cool because I get asked this all the time and I don't have the answer. So I have to fudge something. I don't know. |
| 1:53.0 | How is the parallel economy actually doing? That's what they're asking me. Do we have any data on it? And that's precisely what I'm so excited about with you guys, because that's what you're bringing to us. |
| 2:02.0 | So if you would just give us a bit of the backstory to all this, what inspired you to put together the Freedom Economy Index? |
| 2:09.0 | Yeah, let me take a whack at that. Basically, a lot of these small businesses feel like they don't have a voice because they don't. |
| 2:15.0 | A lot of people in DC, mainstream media, they don't want to listen to the people in America who are actually making the economy going or showing up every day, doing their job, being faithful, supporting families, |
| 2:28.0 | and building what is really the economy, not just the Freedom Economy, but the economy for the US. They don't have a voice because a lot of the elites don't want to hear from them. |
| 2:37.0 | And so we wanted to give them a voice. We wanted to give them a voice at scale and be able to say, hey, most of the Americans who are tired of this leftist agenda have strong opinions about the economy, about their business, about politics, about society. |
| 2:52.0 | And we want to make sure that that opinion is out there. And so that's what we did the Freedom Economy Index. We've done it for two months in a row now. |
| 2:58.0 | And it's really interesting and it's exciting because these are businesses that if you read mainstream media, if you listen to the pundits coming out of DC, they are so out of touch with what the rest of America actually wants and what they really think about. |
| 3:13.0 | So that's what the Freedom Economy is. And it's telling the rest of America that these people are showing up, they're doing their job, and it is exciting because they are growing and they're taking responsibility. |

| 3:31.0 | Mike, what surprised you the most in the world of patriotic small businesses? I do think of you guys as like five star generals in the parallel economy. You're really on the front lines there. What's happening in the field? What surprised you? |
| 3:44.0 | Well, I will tell you that what surprised me was maybe a little different than what would surprise the average reader that doesn't have as much exposure to the parallel economy as Andrew or I do. |
| 3:54.0 | We talk to these businesses all day long and we have the pleasure and the opportunity to hear their stories and their concerns and also their triumphs, the areas in which they really feel like they're winning. |
