This week on hometown ghost stories. Tonight, we return to Scotland to Scotland to dive into the

history and hauntings of Edinburgh Castle.

It was difficult to recall exactly how it began on that cool, misty evening.

Callum had been posted as a sentry on the east wall overlooking the castle's esplanade.

Certain details remained vivid, how his fingers settled into the worn grooves of the spear shaft, shaped by years of use.

How mist clung to the stone beneath his boots, how still the night

had been. The next thing he remembered was a solitary rap sound that echoed from the stairway below.

He paid little attention at first, but when the sound came again, a little louder this time,

he considered investigating.
