And this is the idea that when we try to learn how to pay attention and focus

as part of the recovery process, focus on something other than the fear and our sensations

and our thoughts, we can be helped in that effort by understanding that thinking and feeling

is not the only event happening in any given time.

So this is a really cool concept that comes right out of acceptance and commitment therapy,
